The principal administrator for Cairncross & Hempelmann since its formation in 1987, Char is responsible for the business of the practice of law. Working closely with Scott Bell, our Managing Partner, she is responsible for day-to-day operations, policies, and procedures in the key areas of human resources, technology, facilities, financing, and marketing. Together with a talented and dedicated administrative staff, she keeps our firm running smoothly, productively and profitably, so that our attorneys and staff can devote themselves to serving our clients.

Education: B.A. in English, cum laude, Westmont College, Santa Barbara, California, 1974. Over 20 years in legal administration.
