Sandip practices primarily in the area of commercial real estate transactions, including retail, office and industrial leasing, purchase and sale agreements and real estate financings. He represents technology, hospitality and retail clients in this area.
In addition to his real estate practice, he provides a general corporate/business background to clients, including the creation of for-profit and non-profit entities, asset and stock purchases, transaction documentation and corporate governance advice.
Sandip also brings a substantial commercial litigation background to his practice. He has represented owners, developers, design professionals, general contractors, subcontractors and suppliers in a wide variety of construction claims, including breach of contract, changes, errors/omissions, defects, warranty claims, and environmental liability claims. Further, he has experience in real estate litigation, including earnest money agreements, easements and boundary disputes.
Sandip is licensed to practice in Washington and before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. District Court, Western District of Washington. He is a member of the Washington State Bar Association, North American South Asian Bar Association, and is Secretary, Director and co founder of the South Asian Bar Association of Washington. Sandip is also active in the International Council of Shopping Centers and National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP). Prior to its merger with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Sandip was on the Board of Directors for the Multiple Sclerosis Association of King County. He was named a "Rising Star" in Washington Law & Politics magazine in 2004, 2008, 2009 and 2010.
