Well, for starters, the people here are genuine. We’re here because we want to be part of an environment that allows us to have fun while we produce top-notch legal work. We strive to balance professionalism with a fun, family-style atmosphere. If you visit our offices, you’ll notice that we don’t put names on office doors, and we don’t do that for a reason – we’d rather take a moment to discover the person behind each desk.

At CH&, each individual has a voice. Ideas about procedures and practices are regularly solicited from employees and frequently acted upon. All employees have opportunities to be heard and acknowledged at meetings, retreats, and on a day-to-day basis.

CH& people approach career and outside activities with energy and enthusiasm. Our varied interests revolve around family, outdoor activities, community service and the arts. We serve on non-profit boards in support of ideals that mean something to us, including programs like Consumer Education and Training Services, the Cross Cultural Health Care Program, the Pike Place Market and the Ballard Food Bank. In addition, the firm offers many of us the opportunity to support those that matter to us by hosting quarterly charitable donation drives for organizations like YouthCare, Homeward Pet, and the Hear See Hope Foundation. Of course, there are a few of us that are best described as preferring spectator sports, while others actively participate in physical activities like cycling, mountaineering, backpacking, fly fishing, gourmet cooking, snow and water skiing, sailing, music, kayaking, paragliding, and youth programs. We are a diverse group with wide-ranging interests and welcome any opportunity to embrace new adventures!
