Troy Hatfield

Troy’s passion for construction law and litigation started in law school with an appellate moot court competition, and it continued with a clerkship at a well-established construction law firm in Seattle. He also externed for Judge Robert J. Bryan in the U.S. District Court and has experience in regulatory compliance, public records law, employment, and complex commercial litigation.

Troy completed his J.D. and his M.B.A. concurrently, giving him a unique perspective on the challenges of operating businesses and the corporate legal landscape. This insight helps him advise clients about legal issues in ways that are informed by business realities.  Understanding the risks, relationships, and necessities inherent in business allows Troy to provide legal coverage that not only furthers litigation strategy but also furthers the client’s business goals.
