CH& Announces Its Newest Partner Patricia Laughman

Cairncross & Hempelmann (CH&) is pleased to announce Patricia Laughman as its newest partner, effective January 1, 2022. “Patricia has demonstrated the highest level of legal skills and commitment to our clients, and we are thrilled to welcome her to the partner group. She will make significant impacts on the health and success of the firm for years to come,” said Matt Hanna, CH& Managing Partner.

Since joining the firm in 2019, Patricia has become an integral member of the CH& Litigation group. Her practice focuses primarily on complex commercial disputes and construction litigation. She represents companies of all sizes, and her clients include design firms, architects and engineers, contractors, owners, and consultants. Treating her clients’ money like her own, Patricia is value-driven and cost-conscious when it comes to the strategic legal advice she provides. This mentality extends into her approach to each case, working to develop relationships with opposing counsel to maximize the outcomes for her clients through effective negotiation and cooperation across the table.

Patricia is active on several pro bono projects through The Promise of Justice Initiative and is a contributing member of the CH& Diversity Team.  She also serves as secretary of the board of directors of Conservation Northwest.
