CH& Welcomes New Attorneys and Expands Business Practice

Cairncross & Hempelmann is pleased to announce that two business attorneys and a paralegal will be joining the Seattle law firm in June. The addition of this group is part of a strategic, long-term plan for Cairncross & Hempelmann.

Widely recognized as leaders in their fields, the group includes attorneys Laura Bertin and Laura Harper and paralegal Amanda Armstrong, all of whom were part of the business group at Summit Law Group prior to joining Cairncross & Hempelmann.

“We are very pleased to welcome this group to Cairncross & Hempelmann,” said Matt Hanna, Managing Partner of Cairncross & Hempelmann. “We have been intentional in the growth of our firm with a focus on better serving our clients. This is a team who have long been successful in serving their clients, who we are excited to welcome to the firm, and they value the same aspects of workplace culture that we do. It’s a great match.”

“The group’s extensive experience with mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance and securities law deepens the wide range of business services that we provide our clients every day,” said Dwight Wheaton, Co-Chair of the Corporate Finance Group at Cairncross & Hempelmann. “Adding this team’s expertise enhances our ability to serve our existing clients and our new clients. We’re excited about the direction this will take us.”

“Cairncross & Hempelmann is well-established in the Seattle legal market and we are looking forward to joining this dynamic and growing team,” said Laura Bertin. “We were drawn by their professional culture, dedication to customer service and extensive business law experience and expertise.”
